Adding Images to Your Website
This article covers how to add images to your site and optimize images for mobile devices.
Adding a Text Widget to a Page
Text Widgets allow you to add text and images to your site’s pages.
From your Dashboard, go to Content > Widgets Manager
- Navigate to the page where you'd like to add an image
- Add a Text Widget to the page
- Click and hold down to drag and drop the Text Widget to any of the grey and white checkered areas on the page

2. Add the Image
- Click the pencil icon to edit the widget, then delete the sample heading and text
- In the pop up window, click the picture icon in the toolbar at the top

- If the image is not uploaded to the server:
- Go to the Upload tab
- Click Choose File
- Select the file on your computer
- Hit the Send it to the Server button.
- If the image is already uploaded to the server:
- Stay on the first tab and click Browse Server
- Find the image, and double click to select it
3. Adjust the Image Size
For a mobile responsive image, use a percentage for the width so the image resizes relative to the page size:
- Go to the Image Info tab
- Click the lock icon open
- Delete the height and
- Set the width to a percentage by entering a number followed by the % symbol.


When using a percentage, the image will appear distorted in the preview and will correct once saved.
For an image that is not mobile responsive:
- Go to the Image Info tab
- Type the number of pixels under width or height
- Keep the lock icon closed so the height and width stay proportional

4. Save the Changes
- Click OK, then click Save
- Close the Text Widget by clicking the X in the top right.
Adding Images Through the Content Manager
Adding images to content pages is similar to adding them to a Text Widget.
1. Create or Edit a Content Page
- From your Dashboard, go to Content > Content Manager
- Select the Edit link next an existing page or create a new page from +Add A New Page
2. Add the Picture
- Click the picture icon in toolbar

- If the image is not uploaded to the server:
- Go to the Upload tab
- Click Choose File
- Select the file on your computer
- Hit the Send it to the Server button
- If the image is uploaded to the server:
- Stay on the Image Info tab and click Browse Server
- Find the image and double click to select it
3. Adjust the Image Size
For a mobile responsive image, use a percentage for the width so the image resizes relative to the page size:
- Go to the Image Info tab
- Click the lock icon open
- Delete the height and
