Pointing Your Domain to InCom
Ready to get your website live on the web? This guide will walk you through the steps to point your domain to InCom. We'll show you how to change your nameservers on InCom Domains, but don't worry if your domain is registered elsewhere—the process is quite similar across different registrars.
1. Log in to Your Domain Registrar Account
- Visit InCom Domains or where you purchased your domain and log in with your account credentials.
2. Access Your Domain Settings
- Once logged in, click on your profile at the top and navigate to My Products.
- Find you domain under "All Products and Services" and click DNS.
- In your DNS settings, look for a tab called Nameservers. Click on it.
- Click "Change Nameservers" and select "I'll use my own nameservers".
3. Enter InCom Nameservers
You will see two fields to enter new nameservers. Replace the existing nameservers with the following:
- ns1.incomrealestate.net
- ns2.incomrealestate.net
- Click Save.
Depending on your settings, your registrar might need to verify your identity by sending you a one-time password. Once confirmed, you should receive a "Success!" message indicating that the new nameservers have been saved.
It may take up to 24 hours for the changes to propagate across the internet.
